Wiccopee, NY – June 6, 2006 Awards Night at John Jay High School saw Jeryes (Jerry) Freih being awarded the C. Milton Wolfe Scholarship which is given each year by the Fishkill Exempt Firemen’s Benevolent Association to a graduating John Jay High School senior that has an affiliation with a local fire department or EMS service.
Jerry is a member of the East Fishkill Fire District working out of Station # 4 and is a Certified First Responder working toward achieving his EMT-Basic Certification. He plans on furthering his education with a major in Civil Engineering.
All of us at Protection Engine Company No. 1 wish Jerry well with his upcoming studies.
