Unionville, CT - 1979 Protection Engine Company firemen of Fishkill paraded in Unionville, Conn., Saturday evening and walked off with three trophies.

Protection Engine was cited for having the best apparatus, the most men in line and for being the best-appearing fire company from out of state.

The volunteers celebrated their victory with a parade in Fishkill Sunday evening. The O.H. Booth Hose Company musical unit from Poughkeepsie, which escorted Protection Engine in Unionville, also took part in Sunday's local celebration parade.

Among those marching Sunday were Chief Rad Wilson, Assistant Chief Glenn Scofield, Capt. Arthur Craig and Second Lieutenant Steve LaDue, as well as other officers and members of the company.
