Fishkill, NY - March 7, 2009; Protection Engine Company held its 106th Annual Turkey Supper at the Fire Station located at 1132 Main Street on Saturday night, March 7th. This fundraiser was well attended by Village residents, neighboring firefighters, and other friends of the Fire Department. As with all fundraising events in this challenging economic time, the numbers were off but the attendees again enjoyed a "community event” where they not only were served a delicious meal but were able to socialize with neighbors and friends. Many take-out orders were also delivered by the members to residents that could not make the trip to the fire station.
Event Chairperson and President Jeff Lucariello with the help of many members again did a fantastic job coordinating and running this fundraising event. A special acknowledgement goes out to the many friends of PECo that helped serve, prepare and clean-up from this supper.
Thank you to all that supported this event in one way or another.
