Turkey Bowl

For many years, the Fishkill Fire Department has set aside the day following Thanksgiving for the annual “Turkey Bowl” at which time Fishkill FD plays the New Hackensack Fire Company in a flag (well almost flag) football game. It has been said that the orthopedic surgeons in the Fishkill area wait all year for this event.

Past Games

The location changes from Fishkill to New Hackensack. A trophy is awarded to the winning team and all the Brothers and their families return to the Home Team Fire Station for an afternoon of fun and camaraderie.

The Mayor’s Trophy – 911 Memorial Softball Game is played in September, between the Village PD and Village FD. This yearly event is held to recognize and pay tribute to all of our lost Brothers and Sisters from the tragic events of 9-11-01 as well as fortify the already strong bond between the emergency service organizations of the Village of Fishkill.
